Illegal Coal Pits Sealed : Forest department of Williamnagar on 05-02-2020, with the help of Administration, DMR and the Police, sealed all the illegal coal pits within Rongrenggiri R.F.
It has been a tough struggle for the department against the coal barons who even after repeated sealing of the pits have always attempted to illegally extract coal from within the Reserve.
The department is always on a look out for such illegal activities and trying the best to control and stop such activities.
