Directorate of Information Technology & Communications, Government of Meghalaya invites application in standard form (as prescribed in Pan IX of the Gazette of Meghalaya) for filling up the following posts in the Directorate of Information Technology & Communications (DITC), Government Meghalaya.  

The Last Date for submission of application form is up to 31st January 2020.

1. Post Name:- Driver (Grade-IV)

• No of posts:- 1 (One)
• Pay level:- Level-3, Starting at Rs. 20600/-
• Educational Qualification:- Class-VIII passed. The candidate should have a valid Driving License and knowledge of Motor Mechanism.

2. Post Name:- Peon

• No of posts:- 2 (Two)
• Pay level:- Level-1, starting at Rs. 17400/-
• Educational Qualification:- Class-VIII passed.

3. Post Name:- Chowkidar

• No of posts:- 1(One)
• Pay level:- Level-1, starting at Rs. 17400/-
• Educational Qualification:- Class-VIII passed.

Age limit:- Candidate should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 27 years as of 1st January 2019. The upper age limit relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST.

The applications should be accompanied by 2 (two) recent passport size photographs, attested copies of educational certificates including proof of age, SC/ST Certificates, etc, and challan as prescribed in the fee.

Application Fee

Candidates should have to pay application fee which is Rs. 100/- for General Category and Rs. 50/- for ST candidates by Treasury Challan to be deposited to the Head of Account “0070-OAS-60-Other Services 400-Other Receipts (06) fees, fines, etc”.

Method of Recruitment

The Screening Committee will shortlist the candidates who are found suitable based on the essential requirements of the post and other conditions as stipulated in the advertisement. List of shortlisted candidates would be posted on the Office notice board and website. The shortlisted candidates will be called (via e-mail and public notice in the newspaper) for examination.
