NEIGRIHMS Shillong Recruitment 2019, JRF & Medical Social Worker Positions [Walk-in]

NEIGRIHMS Shillong Recruitment 2019:- The Department of Microbiology, NEIGRIHMS, Shillong will conduct a “Walk-In-Interview” on 19th December 2019 to select qualified person for the following posts purely on contractual basis under the Project entitled, “Molecular epidemiology of Hepatitis B & C among intravenous drug users (IVDUs) in Northeast and Northwest region of India” underfunding of DBT, Govt. of India with following details.

1. Post Name:- Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)

• No of posts:- 1 (One)
• Upper age limit:- 35 years.
• Salary:- Rs. 35,960/- per month
• Educational Qualification:- Masters Degree in Life Sciences preferably in Medical Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry. The candidate should have had 60% aggregate marks in the post-graduation course.
• Desirable:-
  1. Preference will be given to candidates with CSIR, UGC, NET, GATE, DBT, BET, ICMR JRF qualification.
  2. Working experience in the relevant field.

2. Post Name:- Medical Social Worker

• No of posts:- 1 (One)
• Upper age limit:- 35 years.
• Salary:- Rs. 32,000/- per month.
• Educational Qualification:- Masters Degree in humanities preferably in Sociology/ Social Work/ Medical Social Work.
• Desirable:- Minimum 1-year experience in community work in High risks groups/ Health Research. Knowledge of computer application (MS-Office/ Data Management)
