NIT Meghalaya Recruitment 2019:- National Institutes of Technology Meghalaya is going to hold a walk-in-interview on 07.12.2019 for the following Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) position. The candidate selected for this position can also apply for the Ph.D. program of NIT Meghalaya as per the eligibility criteria.

Post Name:- Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)

• No of posts:- 1 (One)
• Project name:- DST sponsored project “Assessment of climate change impact on soils and various water basins of Meghalaya using existing and newer techniques”.
• Duration:- Initial appointment is for one year, which is extendable up to 3 years solely based on the performance.
• Upper age limit:- 28 years as on December 01, 2019 (relaxable as per the norms/orders of Government of India).
• Salary:- Rs. 25,000/- per month + HRA 10% for the first two years and thereafter Rs. 28,000/- per month + HRA 10%.
• Educational Qualification:- M.Sc. in Chemistry (where specialization is not offered by the institute/ organization/ university)/ Organic Chemistry/ Inorganic Chemistry. Preference may be given to NET/Gate qualified candidates.
