Meghalaya Police Recruitment 2019:- Meghalaya Police invites online application from eligible candidates who are Indian citizens and who are domiciled in the State of Meghalaya to fill up the under mentioned categories of vacancies in the Meghalaya Police.

Online Application forms will be available with effect from 12.11.2019 to 14.12.2019. Candidates should be able to speak read and write at least one of the regional languages of the State.

AB/UB Group

1. Post Name:- UB Sub- Inspector

How to apply for Meghalaya Police Recruitment 2019

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through Meghalaya Police official website www.megpolice.gov.in from 14.11.2019 to 14.12.2019.

The following documents should be brought by the candidates at the time of PET for vetting and submit copies of the same at the time of Personal Interview.

1. 4 (four) recent passport size photographs.
2. S.T/S.C. Certificate — for S.T. / S.C. candidates of Meghalaya.
3. Age certificate as per HSLC/ SSLC Certificates/ Admit Cards or their equivalent certificate testifying the date of birth/age.
4. Educational Qualification certificates.
5. Additional qualifications, if any.
6. No Objection Certificate for government employee
7. Domicile Certificate for Open/General category candidates.
8. Photocopies of the certificate to support the claim of Bonus Marks Should be submitted at the time of PET.

Candidates applying for posts of drivers are required to possess HMV/ LMV driving license.

Application Fee

The Application Fee for each post shall be Rs. 50/- (Rupees fifty) which should be paid through EGRAS or E-Challan from any Nationalized Bank. The concerned bank will charge from Candidates as per the mode of payment.

Reservation Policy

Reservation policy of the State is 40% for Khasi Jaintia candidates, 40% for Garo candidates, 5% for other Tribes of Meghalaya and Schedule cast and 15% Open category for all candidates irrespective of Tribes/Casts. 10% of existing vacancies shall be reserved for Women candidates.

Selection Procedure

Eligible candidates will have to undergo Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). Before the PMT/PET, Admit Cards will be uploaded at the Meghalaya Police Website. Admit cards with barcodes and names of candidates for post applied and date and venue of recruitment will be given to the applying candidates.

Recruitment shall take place only at 1st Battalion, MLP Mawiong and 2nd Battalion, MLP Goeragre for which candidates will have to indicate their choice in their online application forms. Dates and venue for PET/ Written Test/ Personal interviews will be duly informed.

If candidates appear in the Tests from more than one venue or make an attempt towards that end, his/her candidature will be canceled forthright for all the venues.

              HOW TO APPLY DETAILS

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR FILLING ONLINE APPLICATION FORM

The last date for Online Registration of Application form is 30th December, 2019 midnight. There will no further extension after this date. Please complete your application form before 30th December, 2019

Applications must be submitted online through Meghalaya Police website www.megpolice.gov.in. No other forms of application will be entertained. A helpdesk will be opened at the office of Principal Police Training School, Shillong to facilitate the online filling of applications. All Candidates will have to appear for their PST/PET & Written Test only.

Visit Website: www.megpolice.gov.in to access the web portal of the Central Recruitment Board (CRB), Meghalaya, Shillong and go to the link APPLY Advt. No. --------

Before filling up the application form the candidates are advised to carefully go through the full advertisement published on the CRB, Meghalaya, Shillong Web portal. Before Applying Online, applicants must ensure that they have valid email id, Mobile Number to receive confirmation,  date alerts and future notices. 

On CRB website www.megpolice.gov.in you can access the tab “Advt. by Group” from where you will be redirected to Registration page to choose your post of choice. At basic information page, Applicants have to fill their details. Only one Application can be registered against one valid mobile no. and email id. fill the details asked regarding your post to be applied, personal, Educational details, Permanent address etc

After filling up all details, the Applicants will have to press Register button to save the data, once saved, you cannot modify the data, so do check before final submission. After final submit you will be redirected to payment page.

After successful registration of your basic details, an automatically generated Registration no and details will be sent via email to your registered email id and also SMS will be sent to your registered mobile no. So you are advised to provide valid email and mobile number only. 

Press the Make Payment, you can pay the required application fees using Debit card/Credit Card/Net Banking/Cash Challan as per your convenience using following options ---

 e-Payment (Internet Banking including SBI Debit Card) Payment Across Bank Counter (Cash/Cheque) SBI epay Payment Gateway (Other Bank Debit Card)

Download PDF:  Print the registration form to ensure application has been successfully registered. Registration Slip, email confirming of registration, and proof of payment of application fees should be retained by the applicant for all future correspondence with CRB, Meghalaya, Shillong.

Request for change/correction in any particulars in the application form shall not be entertained after last date of submission of online application. If candidate fill multiple applications for same post, the last submitted application form will be treated as final. CRB will not entertain any further request for any kind of change/correction to entry in application form.  

Instructions for filling Online Application Forms

1- Registration Form

(1)    Category: Applicant must choose their category which he/she belongs to. Such as Garo, Khasi/Jaintia, Other (Tribal), General, SC. Applicants, belonging to Garo, Khasi/Jaintia, Other (Tribal), General, SC, must produce relevant certificate at the time of document verification. Applicants, who are not a resident of Meghalaya State, should not apply the form. Change of category will not be accepted after registering & buying the application form.

(2)    Date of Birth: Date of birth should be in format of DD/MM/YYYY. It should be the same as per 10th/SSC/Matriculation Certificate. Applicant minimum and maximum age should be matched to the given criteria (as on 1st Jan, 2019).

(11)    Phone Number: Entering a valid and active 10digit mobile number is mandatory, as it will be used for future communication from CRB. In case you enter a wrong mobile number, you will not be able to get important notifications in future and CRB is not liable nor responsible if your mobile number is not working. You can apply only one application with one Mobile Number. Change of Mobile Number is not accepted after registering & buying the application form.   

(12)    Email Address: A personal Email ID is mandatory for Registration. (17) For Follower post: Select as applicable trade (Cook or Barber or Sweeper.

(18) Bonus Category: Applicant must choose their Bonus category which he/she belongs to. Such as NCC (B&C Certificate), Home Guard Volunteers, Eminent Sports Persons Who Represent the State at the National. Each Bonus Category carryout 5 marks. Applicants, belonging to NCC (B&C Certificate), Home Guard Volunteers, Eminent Sports Persons Who Represent the State at the National, must produce relevant certificate at the time of document verification.
