SAIL Recruitment 2019:- Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), invites applications from eligible persons for filling up the following posts for posting in its various mines as detailed below:

1. Post Name:- Medical Officer [Dental]

• No of posts:- 1 (One)
• Upper age limit:- 30 years as on closing date.
• Pay Scale:- Grade- ME1, Rs. 20,600-3%- 46,500 /- Rs. 24,900-3%- 50,500
• Educational Qualification:- BDS from a university/ Institute recognized by Dental Council of India with minimum 65% aggregate marks and with 01-year post qualification experience.

2. Post Name:- Mining Foreman

• No of posts:- 40
• Upper age limit:- 28 years as on closing date.
• Pay Scale:- Grade- S3, Rs. 16800- 3% -24110/-
• Educational Qualification:- Matriculation with 03 years full time Diploma in Mining Engineering from a Govt. recognised Institute with minimum 50% aggregate marks for General/ OBC/ EWS candidates [40% aggregate marks for SC/ST candidates] with valid Mines Foreman Certificate of Competency from DGMS under MMR, 1961 (For metalliferous Mines) with 01 year post qualification experience in relevant field.

3. Post Name:- Mining Mate

• No of posts:- 51
• Upper age limit:- 28 years as on closing date.
• Pay Scale:- Grade- S1, Rs. 15830- 3%- 22150/-
• Educational Qualification:- Matriculation with valid Mining Mate Certificate of Competency from DGMS under MMR, 1961 (For metalliferous Mines) with 1 (one) year post qualification experience in the relevant field.

4. Post Name:- Surveyor (Mines)

• No of posts:- 9
• Upper age limit:- 28 years as on closing date.
• Pay Scale:- Grade- S3, Rs. 16800-3% – 24110/-
• Educational Qualification:- Matriculation and 03 years full-time Diploma in Mining & Mines’ Surveying from a Govt. recognized institute with minimum 50% aggregate marks and possessing valid Mines Surveyor’s certificate of Competency from DGMS under MMR (For metalliferous Mines) and having one-year post qualification experience in the relevant field.

5. Post Name:- Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee)

• No of posts:- 17
  1. Electrical – 13 posts
  2. Chemical – 4 posts
• Upper age limit:- 28 years as on closing date.
• Pay Scale:- Grade- S3, Rs. 16800- 3% -24110/-
• Educational Qualification:- Matriculation and 3 years full-time Diploma from a Govt. recognized Institute in the discipline of Electrical**/ Chemical Engg. with minimum 50% aggregate marks for General/OBC/EWS candidates [40% aggregate marks for SC/ST candidates].

6. Post Name:- Attendant-cum- Technician (Trainee) [HMV]

• No of posts:- 20
• Upper age limit:- 28 years as on closing date.
• Pay Scale:- Grade- S1, Rs. 15830- 3%- 22150/-
• Educational Qualification:- Matriculation with valid relevant Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving Licence or equivalent to operate heavy Earth Moving/ Mining Equipment and having at least one year experience in operation of Earth Moving/ Mining Equipment.

7. Post Name:- Nursing Sister (Trainee)

• No of posts:-10
• Upper age limit:- 28 years as on closing date.
• Pay Scale:- Grade- S3, Rs. 16800 -3% -24110/-
• Educational Qualification:- B.Sc (Nursing) from an Institution recognized by Nursing Council of India or 10+2/Intermediate in Science with regular Diploma of minimum 03(three) years duration in General Nursing & Midwifery from Govt. recognized institution with minimum 50% aggregate marks for General/ OBC/ EWS candidates [40% aggregate marks for SC/ST candidates] and with valid registration in Nursing Council of India/States and with 1 year post qualification clinical experience in a hospital after registration.

Relaxation in upper age limit

The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates with respect to posts reserved for them.

• Medical Officer (Dental):- Rs. 500/- for General/ OBC/ EWS candidates and Nil for SC/ST candidates.
• Mining Foreman, Surveyor (Mines), Operator-cum-Technician(Trainee) and Nursing Sister [Trainee]:- Rs. 250/- for General/ OBC/ EWS candidates and Nil for SC/ST candidates.
• Mining Mate and Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) [HMV]:- Rs. 150/- for General/ OBC/ EWS candidates and Nil for SC/ST candidates.
