A man who had attended the religious gathering in Delhi's Nizamuddin area and was admitted to a hospital in Delhi tried to commit suicide on Wednesday.
The man tried to jump out of the window of the isolation ward at Delhi's Rajeev Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital.
"Individuals from Markaz Nizamuddin were admitted on the 6th floor and one of them tried to suicide today. We have successfully saved him. We are taking every possible measure to tighten the security with the goal that such incidents don't repeat," Hospital administrator at Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital, Delhi told news agency ANI.
The patient was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday morning. He was admitted to the isolation ward on the hospital's 6th floor as he was suspected to be COVID-19 positive.
