One more tests covid-19 positive in Assam; Total reaches 25

GUWAHATI | APRIL 04, 2020:

One more person testing coronavirus positive in Assam, the total number of such patients in the state has counted to 25 in the state (Assam).

Alert ~ One more #Covid_19 positive case from North Lakhimpur District has been confirmed, taking the total number in Assam to 25.

This patient is also related to #NizamuddinMarkaz event in Delhi.

Assam Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma said "One more Covid-19 positive case has been confirmed in the State of Assam".

He informed that the person hails from North Lakhimpur district of Assam and is also identified with Nizamuddin Markaz occasion held in Delhi earlier in this moneth.

Earlier, sixteen individuals were tested positive for covid-19 and every one of them had attended the Tablighi Jamaat meet in Delhi and with the new cases being detected in Assam the has counted to 25.
