GUWAHATI: APRIL 04, 2020

 Resident of Zoo Road's Spanish Garden in Guwahati became the first COVID-19 positive case from the city.

He is also the first case in Assam who doesn't have any link to the Nizamuddin Markaz gethering in Delhi. The total number of positive cases in Assam counted to 24.

The patient's wife who inform that the patient did not have any travel history after the 1st March.

The patient's said that Manish Tibrawala returned to Guwahati from Delhi through flight on 1st March and was in Guwahati since then.

"A lot of false reports are being circled in the media about his travel history. I need to clarify that he didn't travel anyplace outside Guwahati after the 1st March.
